Education is more than a pathway out of poverty, it’s a foundation for dignity, critical thinking, and long-term resilience. At Wilmbi, we believe every child, regardless of their background or circumstance, deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream. From rural schools to displaced children in temporary shelters, we’re committed to creating learning environments where curiosity thrives and futures are shaped.
We work to remove barriers to education through school supply drives, infrastructure support, mobile libraries, and safe learning spaces. Our programs focus especially on underserved rural areas and crisis-affected communities. In Thailand, we’ve supported after-school programs in migrant neighborhoods and built sanitation facilities in schools to help keep students, especially girls, enrolled and safe. Beyond access, we invest in quality by training local educators and supporting inclusive curriculums that reflect cultural identity and real-world skills, how to pply them.

How are we doing it ?
Back to school programs and material drives
In many communities, the inability to afford basic school supplies like notebooks, pens, shoes, and uniforms keeps children out of the classroom. Our back-to-school campaigns provide full kits to thousands of children every year, removing one of the first and most painful barriers to education.
From flood-prone provinces like Pattani to rural districts in the northeast like Udonthani, we collaborate with local leaders to build and rehabilitate classrooms, toilets, hand-washing stations, and safe play areas, ensuring students can learn in environments that are safe, clean, and welcoming.
Community and parental engagement
We work with parents and caregivers to reshape attitudes around schooling, especially for girls and children with disabilities. Through local dialogues, storytelling sessions, and role model campaigns, we promote education as a shared community value.
Cultural identity and curriculum inclusion
For children from ethnic and linguistic minority groups, learning in their own language and seeing their culture reflected in materials builds confidence and belonging. We support bilingual education and culturally responsive content development to promote both academic growth and identity affirmation.
